Nikko had been owned by a friend of ours, but when she had kids the inkling we had that he wasn’t kid material was confirmed. So, we adopted him into our adults-only pack. Still working on the aggression issues 4 years later. Nikko is our “Jekyll and Hyde” dog.
Dolly is the oldest of our dogs, at 10+ she’s probably still going to outlive the other 3! Dolly’s most recent owner is elderly and was no longer able to take her out to go potty so she made the poor old girl wear diapers and use piddle pads. The woman went for a short rehab stay during which we took care of Dolly, but when she ended up moving into the facility permanently Dolly couldn’t join her. My grandma felt she’d do best with a person most like her former owner, so what grandma wants, grandma gets!
